A Typically Atypical Day
Author(s):
Richard Norquist
From the moment the curtain rises on a mysterious intruder who is planting false incriminating papers in the mayor's office, the excitement, tension and laughter builds in this comedy, which is certainly not your typical show. A reluctant society reporter has been assigned to do a story on a typical day in the mayor's office. Then visitors appear. A guru and his pregnant wife want the mayor to help them register in the city hospital. A fraudulent faith healer seeks exemption from paying rental fees for the revival. The door flies open and Carlos and Juan appear. These two bungling, homesick aliens take the entire office hostage. Radio, television, the FBI and the U.N. all add to the confusion, fun and happy ending. One int. set.
